How it started
Paul Jameson, who was diagnosed with MND in 2017, was delighted to hear the news in Nov 2021 that, after years of campaigning, the government agreed to spend £50 million funding research to help find a cure for this devastating disease. At last something to celebrate. At last there was a sense of optimism and hope for all those who suffer with MND.
This coincided with a visit to a gin micro-distillery near Guildford in Surrey from Paul and some friends. The idea was born to produce a celebratory gin! What better way to thank all those people and organisations who had campaigned so hard, and to thank the 110,000 people who signed the petition which led to the debate in parliament.
50 Million Gin also raises a toast to all those in the MND community who fundraise for MND causes, and to those who suffer from the illness with so much courage and strength.
How we raise money
Partnering with the Village Spirit Collective to produce 50 Million Gin has given us the opportunity to raise money to support MND charities to help find a cure.
Ian from Village Spririt Collective has kindly agreed to donate £8 from every bottle sold to MND charities.
The gin
This is no ordinary gin. It's a premium London dry gin with lots of classic juniper on the nose, giving way to warm coriander and sweet orange, fresh kaffir lime with notes of cardamom and cubeb pepper.
For the gin connoisseur, you will love it.

What is MND?
MND affects the nerves that control the muscles in your body, which progressively stop responding to what your brain is asking them to do and eventually waste away. The disease usually affects the limbs first, then the mouth region. There is currently no cure.
There is a 1 in 300 risk of being diagnosed with MND. In other words, if you have 10,000 people in a stadium, 33 of them will get MND at some point across a normal lifespan.
